Interim Managers & Coaches: Great Investment

Action

Can you identify differences or similarities?
Can both be an asset for the organization?

Speedy deployment of resource with relevant skill
Interim Management is a quick solution as resources can usually be on-board within a week of notification/selection and only those fully and properly skilled to delivery the service are deployed.

Effective
Due to their skill level and expertise, these resources will be fully productive in a matter of days.

Accountable
Interim Manager will take full and direct accountability for the assignment including delivery of objectives; budgets; resource management etc, in accordance with the scope of the assignment.

Flexible
The nature of Interim Management means the greatest flexibility from a client perspective including the extension; expansion or termination of the service.

Expertise
In accordance with respective Interim Managers experience at Senior functional or General management level, a greater degree and spread of business expertise is available to the client and skills transfer and mentoring if/as appropriate is an integral element of the brief.

Not Political
Interim Managers are sensitive to each client’s ethos, but not constrained by its politics or personalities

No impact to Succession Planning
Interim Managers are not permanent resources within the organisation, therefore their position does not pose any threat to internal resources & associated succession planning processes.

No impact to Permanent Headcount
Interim Management provides a solution when clients are constrained on permanent headcount, but still must deliver business objectives.
